After installing this, someone told me it is illegal to tie a noose in Australia and if it’s true I just broke the law 13 times!
I designed the “Los Winter in El Mexico” window at Dakota 501 with the aztec men’s winter collections in mind. Seems like Australia is FINALLY there! 2 years late!
Painted a pink to blue sunset background and gave it a patterned frame.
I recycled the pine from the photo booth and made cacti out of it.
All products are hung from nooses.. Lets just hope I won’t get deported for this one.

Materials cost around AU$200. Paint was the most expensive.

Created this colourfull Mink Pink window at Dakota 501 last week.

Bought 25 toy guns at the local $2 shop and spray painted them to match the current Mink Pink collection and look book.

The whole thing cost me a little under AU$100. Super easy and a visual winner! The brand has been going nuts!

At Dakota 501 the Nudie Jeans wall looked a bit dull. So instead of making the brand pay for a renovation I ran to Ikea and Porter’s to buy simple materials for an inexpensive make-over. All I spend was AU$100 for a tin of Porter’s and 3 Ikea stools.
The Nudie section is so much more visible and inviting now. And sales has been very good!

Here are some before and after shots:

March was such a busy month for me! But in between all the visual merchandising jobs and installation projects, I found time to sit down and do some creative stuff at home.
I dip dyed yarn and fabric to make a fluoro Indian wall piece. I made cute d.i.y. presents for my international friends, tried out a glass jar project and painted this years walnut harvest!

Here are some snaps:

The in-store photo booth at Dakota 501 that goes with the “Snap’O’rama” window. Awesome sauce!

Finalized my “SnapOrama” window for Dakota 501. Build this photo booth out of pine board and added velvet curtains and an awesome cut out ‘circus’ sign. All props are hand made. The window is a part of a big competition Dakota is hosting. I installed a booth in store too and made smaller props for photo use. I’ll post pics of that later!

Installation I did today at ‘Somewhere store’ in Melbourne. The theme is “Europa Tour”. Most props are legit vintage founds from around Victoria and Ebay. The rest is made by myself! Love creating hand made props for VM jobs. So much fun and adds personality. We all want to look individual in this crazy industry!

My dining table branch had a make-over with these mini tassels I made some weeks ago.

Colorful, fluffy and fun. Perfect decoration for this upcoming Easter!

Latest window I did for Dakota 501.

‘BAG TO SCHOOL’… You’ve got it!

Dip dyed some homemade tissue paper pom poms in fabric dye today

that I will make into a garland later this week…

Didn’t wear gloves which was a MAJOR mistake!

A lil somethang somethang I made last week..
Triangular cut cardboard covered in tissue paper

and cut into frills. Fun afternoon project!

Christmas at my house this year was colorful, mexican inspired and with a scandinavian twist. Wired mix, but worked out really well. Next one up EASTER! Got lots of great, colorful ideas already.

Christmas cards off to Denmark!

Thought a christmas decoration above the dining table

would add a little scando xmas spirit to the hot Melbourne summer.

And it does! Branch found down the river and glass balls are from

random $2 stores!

My calender candle light for this christmas.

I love enjoying my breakfast next to it while watching the days slowly

melt away. Not long now… Merry christmas!
